We serve as a unified voice, advocating for fair treatment, equitable compensation, and robust legal protections. Through international collaboration, knowledge sharing, and capacity building, we strive to create a thriving and just environment for performers in the audiovisual industry.

Protection and Promotion of Rights

Advocate for favourable legal frameworks, policies, and regulations at national, regional, and international levels to protect the moral and economic rights of audiovisual performers.

Engage in legislative processes, offer assistance, and share expertise to strengthen legal protection and enforcement mechanisms for these rights.

Advocacy and Representation

Serve as a unified global voice for audiovisual performers and their collective management organizations in international forums, negotiations and discussions.

Collaborate with relevant stakeholders, including international organizations and industry bodies, to ensure effective representation of performers' concerns and perspectives.

Collaboration and Standardization

Encourage and facilitate cooperation and exchange of best practices among member organizations.

Establish best practice principles, standards, and procedures related to technical, legal and administrative aspects of collective management activities for audiovisual performers.

Multi-territorial Exploitation

Support initiatives to enforce the economic rights of audiovisual performers regarding multi-territorial exploitation of their performances or works.

Address issues related to the communication and distribution of audiovisual content across multiple platforms and technologies.

International Cooperation

Establish a framework for cooperation and collaboration among member organizations to facilitate the cross-border exchange of rights and royalties collected in their respective territories.

Work towards enabling audiovisual performers’ CMOs to utilize international databases such as IPD and VRDB.

Research and Knowledge Sharing

Create a platform for research, information exchange and knowledge sharing on intellectual property rights, collective management practices and developments in the audiovisual sector.

Enable members to stay updated and make informed decisions to proactively manage and protect the rights of audiovisual performers.

Capacity Building and Assistance

Provide support and assistance to member organizations in implementing, developing, and strengthening collective management systems.

Share resources, offer training programs, and facilitate the development of policies on governance, transparency, and accountability within organizations.
